The month of December is always a hectic month for us. We have tons of family and lots of holiday parties to attend. So we always feel like we have to be in 8 places at once, but somehow through it all we always end up enjoying the holidays.
We started the month with a birthday party for our sister-in-law Laurel. She had a cute little shin dig at an event center called Noah's. It is the cutest place ever and we enjoy going there. She had fun little photo booth with masks and hats, so that everyone could take their pictures and have a fun little memory.
Beamer was sad he couldn't attend the party so we got him a Santa hat and did his own little photo shoot.
December 22nd we went out with a few of our close friends to just celebrate the holidays and have a good time.. We came across "Buddy The Elf" at one point in the night.. Proof is in the picture :)
The next day on the 23rd, Jordan took me to see the Nutcracker at Capital Theater. I'm really surprised that he even went, but that showed true love right there. :) He may have fallen asleep through most it, but I'm still glad he took me. It was awesome.
Christmas Eve and Christmas came and went really fast it seemed. We did, however, enjoy our time with parents, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters. Most of all grandparents.
On New Years Day, Jordan's grandmother had passed away, the day after her birthday. We will miss her so much, but are thankful that she is not in anymore pain. I had know her for the last 6 years and she was such a hoot. Just silly. I did enjoy hearing about stories she would share about her childhood every now and then. She was a really neat lady.
